Shepard will not feature in this game. The game is set between the events of Mass Effect 2 and 3 and Cerberus has come to the attention of the Council. The Council was saved at the end of the events of Mass Effect. Other events featured in the video games will be added as they are referred to in The Orpheus Initiative.
