Mikky is the youngest of the four Smith siblings and, like the rest, always knew he was going to be a fireman when he grew up.  He's good-natured, particularly around his sister, but is very serious when on the job.  He's a ruggedly handsome and strong, well-built man who exercises regularly; the sort of guy who gets tapped to pose for promotional, "beefcake" calendars when they want to put real fire fighters in them and not models.

Mikky's a common fire fighter with a low lieutenent's rank.  He drives the pumper truck and works the pumps during a fire, but has shown the willingness and ability to step into a hole in the team if he needs to.

In 1997 Mikky was caught in a blaze while his crew was responding to a factory fire.  Mandy pulled him out of the flames, but he suffered severe burns over 60% of his body and lost three years in recuperation.  Due to his own strong will, the support of his family and some excellent doctors, he returned to the company in 2000, with all of the good looks and gusto of his earlier days.  

Because of this incident, though, Mikky felt a special bond with his sister.  He took it hard when her plane went down on 9/11 and when he heard, on the news, four years later that she had actually survived and was now working in Washington, DC, he transfered to her new company as soon as he could.  He seems to have forgiven Mandy for not calling him to let him know she was alright, but his response to her new powers and her new friends is as-yet unknown.
