"Three-Card Monty" Montgomery Devereaux [[File:Three Card Monty.jpg]] =Attributes= Str 0 Sta 2 Fgt 0 Dex 0 Agl 0 Int 0 Awa 8 Pre 0 =Defenses= Parry 10 Dodge 10 Tou 4/6 Fort 6 Will 10 =Skills= Deception +13 Expertise (Gambling) +12 Insight +12 Perception +12 Persuasion +13 Ranged Combat +12 Sleight of Hand +8 =Advantages= Luck 5 Attractive 2 Beginner's Luck Connected Contacts Equipment 2 (Heavy pistol, Knife) Fascinate (Deception) Fearless Languages 1 (Spanish) Quick Draw Improved Defenses Taunt Well-Informed =Powers= Lucky Shot: Enhanced Advantages: Power Attack, Improved Critical (Pistol) 4, Takedown, Precise Attack 2 Lucky Break: Enhanced Advantages: Evasion 2, Defensive Roll 4, Uncanny Dodge, Redirect, Set-Up Hunch: Senses 1 =Complications= Motivation: Thrills Reputation: Monty's astonishing luck has caused more than a few people to regard him as a cheat, although he isn't. The fact that he's a famed gambler doesn't make friends everywhere, either. Relationships: Monty is also very, very lucky in love. Sadly, this causes problems with jealousy, among other things. Enemy: ...See, here's the thing when your luck and charm tend to get you money and women. People sometimes get upset with you, and Monty has made more than a few enemies by winning. Apparently "No hard feelings" doesn't mean much to some people. And... somebody out there would like to get Monty's luck. They've only met once, and Monty never got the man's name, but he's European, sophisticated, and knows magic. And that makes Monty as scared as he's capable of being. For better or for worse, that's "Not very." =Background= Monty's nobody special, of course. Just a very, very lucky young man, basically good underneath it all, seeking thrills and fortune. But... the truth is, Monty's luck isn't natural. He won it gambling. With Old Man Coyote. Coyote seemed to think that it was no big deal, but the problem is, some people know that Monty's using the luck of a God. And that winds up giving him reasons to keep moving...
