His research has lead him to believe that the local legends regarding it point not to the tribe themselves but to an avatar of the great totem that has possessed humans to do it's works. David is determined to discover what would've driven it to this course of action. Why create suitable vessels rather than work through his own children? Has something destroyed or driven away the Wendigo native to the area? Do they remain, and if so are they complicit in this? Or is it a corrupted aspect that acts on it's own agenda, or worse, the Wyrm's? Any Wendigo that may be nearby will fiercely fight any attempts by an outsider to look into their business. But David is nothing if not driven to discover truths like this. He could use some back up.
