The smaller building that is attached to the palace is a former Buddhist temple that has been converted into a training dojo.  It is mostly an open space with several designated fighting rings, weapons, and training devices that hone the abilities of aspiring ninja.

The palace itself has made up of five levels:

Entry Hall (1st level) - serves mostly as a greeting hall and it's where the town and clan gather for important events.

Utility Floor (2nd level) - has a large kitchen, cleaning supplies, and serves mostly as a storage space

Guest Floor (3nd level) - has several private rooms setup for guests

Private Floor (4th level) - has private quarters for each of demons and the four generals that serve the clan.

Koji's Quarters (5th level) - Grandmaster Koji's private quarters.

Hidden beneath the palace are a few extra levels that only Koji really knows the details of, and there are no apparent ways to get to them directly.  It is here that he supposedly keeps the wealth of the clan hidden from enemies.

The village is composed of some 80 families or so, mostly farmers.  Each family has one or two members that are Black Tigers, giving an approximate count of 125 Black Tigers in total commanded by Grandmaster Kohi and four Generals that he has appointed over the years.
