Between the Chasm and the rest of the city is an unoccupied, ruined ghost-town called No Man's Land. This strip of abandoned city is half a kilometre wide and only the hardiest souls, the desperate or those under the protection of the Chasm's denizens enter it. There are signs that No Man's Land was once a prosperous districts and rumours abound of the hidden treasures it contains. There are few that would willingly venture into it though. Over the years it has developed a small, transient community of people though. Of those who seek to escape punishment or retribution by various factions in the rest of the city, some are desperate enough to flee here. In No Man's Land you are relatively safe from those in the rest of the city, but most prefer to take their chances with the more mundane threats of the city.
