And my pitch is for a teen team book, somewhat in the manner of Legion of Superheroes, Young Justice, Teen Titans, and Gen 13, but not a sidekick team.

The common thread between the characters will be connections to genetic experiments conducted by a sinister entity TBD. However, unlike most teams with this premise, they will not have a single origin and power source, but represent a diversity of approaches to genetically engineered superbeings.

In addition to genetic engineering and bio-transhumanism, the book will probably touch on themes of both Greco-Roman and East Asian culture and mythology, as well as martial arts and the cultivation of human potential.

Of course none of this should scare anyone else off working with these themes...
