===Background===

Orchid strongly resembles the flower she was named after, which rather surprised Faustina when she attempted to summon an imp for a Q&A session and got Orchid instead. After the initial shock, Orchid felt that Faustina (and Mr. Cuddles) was bags of fun to hang out with. Faustina, on her part, saw quite a bit of value in having a miniature tactical commander on her side during pitched battles. 

She does not exactly lead from the front - however, she has a naturally inspiring air around her that subconsciously drives her allies to give more of themselves than they would have thought possible.

===The Rest===

The remnants of Faustina's staff number about twenty men (23 men; 20 1st level, 2 2nd level, 1 3rd level). Most were either lost in the big dragon attack, or Faustina sent them home to their families. Thus, the ones who stayed on are either fanatically devoted to their leader, have nothing better to do with their lives, prefer the lifestyle of a wandering mercenary, or all of the above.

===Deathwing (AKA Mr. Cuddles)===

Mr. Cuddles (as Faustina likes calling him, is a very large griffon assigned to her as a mount. Mr. Cuddles likes curling up in front of a fire, playing catch with Faustina, and ripping people into bloody shreds. He is surprisingly gentle around Faustina, rolling over like a kitten so she can tickle his tummy. In battle, Mia hides in his ear and tells him who to eat from the safety of her driver's seat. 

Orok always eats the hearts of dragons, which annoys Mr. Cuddles no end, because he wants it all, dammit, but there's nothing he can do besides sulk and take his annoyance out on the next person he's commanded to eat.
