Suddenly Magic was actually available.  Elves and Dwarves had the ability to use magic but didn't have the information. These groups had information they believed worked.  In a short period the two found common ground and had working magic.

Among these groups were people who believed they were druids.  They joined with similarly inclined elves and druids.  Many of these people had life long histories of calling themself wizards, druids, fairies, unicorns, and were considered by their families and by society to be eccentric or outright crazy.  They were genera;; mocked till the Change
 
  
After the First year of the Change, while Pacifica was trying to develop regional stability, a large number of these Fairies, wizards, and self proclaimed druids disappeared.  As may as 3000.  It was believed by family members that they went to an alarge orginized  camping event.  The details are unclear. 
 
  
These people went off the grid for six months.  Then they returned to their live as if nothing happened except they had joined anew group. Over 300 known groups with different views disappeared or disbanded.
 
 
These people had founded a new group called the Druidic Council of Pacifica.  They were condensing their unified wisdom into Tomes.  The group consisted of Groves, Libraries, and Chapters.
