''The lovers that would be known as Panda and Raccoon started life on two very different tracks, but as the saying goes, opposites attract.'' 

''Panda was born a mutant in a large city, one that had agencies to deal with such things. She was taken from her parents and raised as a laboratory experiment. This was her life for the first fifteen years. After that, things got slightly better. Her powers surfaced for the first time and it turned out that she was a psionic.'' 

''This suited her jailers nicely as they need someone to track down those that he agencies thought too dangerous to run the streets unchecked.'' 

''They trained her in combat and sent her out to bring these "rogues" in.'' 

''She was out of jail, free. There was no chance that she was going back. The Panda was experiencing freedom for the first time, she would make others pay as much as she did when she was in a cage.'' 

''Raccoon was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Wealth, power and influence was his for the taking when he turned of age. Only one thing stood in his way. He had a tail.'' 

''He also was born a mutant, but his parents had hid him away from prying eyes, he grew up thinking that everything was normal. When it occurred to him that not everyone had a tail he started to wonder, why not? Then it came to him, because he was better then them. He had all the money that they wanted, he had all the power that they wanted. The tail must be a sign of superiority.'' 

''Not only did he have a tail but he could make fields of darkness, which he could see though, he was also much stronger then other people. This was too good, what would he do with all of his free time?'' 

''All the other petty people wanted money, craved money, would kill for money, Why? Because they wanted to be like him. He would show them, he would take all of there belongings right out from under them, then laugh at them at they cried on the evening news. Bank Presidents and Corporate Heads would be his targets.'' 

''He met Panda on a job, she needed money. Not to be like him, but for food. They talked for awhile and found that they had the one thing in common, one had funny looking ears, and the other a tail. They where both mutants.''
