Textures and color are the main design elements, with easy-clean surfaces. The deck sports a wool kilim-style rug. The bed has a Celtic spread printed on soft fleece. A chair upholstered in distressed brown leather and a pair of cabinets in a hand-painted faux wood finish warm up what would otherwise be a utilitarian and sterile living space. The pride of place, however, go to the two Tiffany reproduction lamps Kiera somehow managed to acquire on the cheap. She's had Rina fix them to the tabletops as a precaution. A couple of books chosen as much for their covers as for their contents fill out the empty corners of the room. Unseen in the plan view is a mural of dolphins sporting in an ocean, done in rich sunset colors.
