==Overview==

Studying the development of young pokemon both in the wild and around humans, Professor Hawthorn has a number of young pokemon around her lab in Clearbrook, and keeps in regular contact with the local breeders. A mother of one, there are rumours that she used to be a skilled pokemon trainer, although she only has two pokemon of her own, which these days mostly laze around the lab and help look after the young ones.
