Editing RH101:Communicable Diseases

The Reality-Hacking techniques that created the miraculous cures seen in the [[RH101:Mount Ararat Children Hospital|Mount Ararat 'Miracle']], namely a mastery of the manipulation of microbes and viruses, were quickly turned to less benevolent purposes.  The 'twenty-teen' years between 2013 and 2019 saw hundreds of newly 'discovered' diseases, most extremely virulent.

The first of these novel infections was the so-called 'Chinese Blue Fever', which caused people's skin to dye itself colors previously unseen outside of science fiction.  Like many of the new diseases, the first wave was sexually transmitted, which meant that when the second wave, which was airborne, hit, many victims found themselves falsely accused to immoral behavior.

The Reality Hackers involved chose, for some unknown reason, not to create any new diseases that were directly fatal.  This is, of course, of little consolation to the victims, direct and indirect, of [[RH101:Viral Nihilism|Viral Nihilism]], including those impacted by the role that disease played in the unfolding of the Silver Runways Incident.
