Editing Ragar of the Nine Stanzas

Ragar is the Peace Chief of the Clan, the Nine Stanzas who are the first of the Howlers to be unlucky enough to cross paths with the Bleak Legion. 
Ragar has always been known to be a proud and hard man, wise enough to negotiate but ready to do battle when other options fail (as they quickly do in the Howlers' lands). 
But since the battle with the Bleak Legion, the loss of so much of the Clan, and being left on the field like discarded rubbish, Ragar seems melancholy and overly cautious. He shows no interest in returning to the Reach to seek vengeance against the shadowy horde that fell so many of his brothers and sisters. Is it simply keeping what's left of his family alive? Or is there something deeper afoot in the midst of the Nine Stanzas Clan?
