A brilliant sorcerer reputed for his magical architecture and ability to grind down powerful spirits for their magical essence, Zelligar was as much thief as he was magician.  His great collection of magical items were as often produced by others who gave them up only after their death.  Zelligar's books of magic are highly sought after by the Grand Arcanum as is his tomb.  Zelligar, surprisingly, isn't entirely dead and often visits individuals in their dreams....especially his erstwhile descendants that include many people with the talent to become mages.
