Editing Rowan Schandalere

Second child of Elise and Marcus Schandalere, Rowan has always been in Scarlet's shadow, and that suits him just fine. He shares both his deep-running passions and less than personable nature with his daughter, but what really sets him apart is his discipline. Whatever skills and powers he has, they have not come easily to him. He had to earn them with blood, sweat and tears. He has always pushed himself to the utmost, and expects the same from others. He is seen in the family as a somewhat grim and even intimidating figure. Certainly not one of the wild and fun Schandaleres.

His daughter Lily is the single greatest frustation and challenge in his life. And rest assured that he cares for, and even loves her, but voicing those emotions is just not something that will happen soon. 'Coddling' someone is just not in his nature. No, he is the one to push her, and call out all the things about her that disappoint him. The greatest disappointment of all, of course, being that his daughter lacks any and all discipline. Lily never had to work hard at the things she liked to do, and the things she dislikes, she just won't do. This stubbornness gives him hope however, as that's just another form of discipline. He believes his daughter has a great deal of potential, if she would only believe in, and apply herself. Instead, he feels she wastes it.

His 'tough love' school of parenting has however backfired tremendously and Rowan and Lily's arguments, especially as she got older, have been rather vicious and painful affairs. Mostly though, he considers all this his failure. He has not given up yet. That is also not in his nature.

He has not been directly involved in the superhero side of the family business, though he has kept his skills sharp. He goes under the moniker of Bladestorm and has great skills in wielding all manner of archaic weapons, though his preference is definitely swords. And he can wield over a dozen of them, those he cannot hold in his hands through telekinesis. Facing Bladestorm is like confronting a small army of weaponmasters.
