Hey all,
Write "stories" (via Blue Books) of the "'''BATTLE FOR FIRST-HOLD'''".
The battle will undoubtedly go down as a huge step for the resistance. Stuff of legends. The beginning of the turn of the tide.

I want YOU to help me create those images and quotes. The iconic stories that get passed down from generation to generation.

I had a wonderous idea that I'd like to offer. Here are a few things I would gladly award extra Experience Points for. I think these things will bountifully add to our campaign and hope you all do them (or would want to) regardless of the xp reward.

I'd like you to all write "stories" (via Blue Books) of the "BATTLE FOR FIRST-HOLD". The battle will undoubtedly go down as a huge step for the resistance. Stuff of legends. The beginning of the turn of the tide.

I want YOU to help me create those images and quotes. The iconic stories that get passed down from generation to generation.

You can tell the tales from your CURRENT point of view as if rumors are being spread withing First-Hold. Or stories that make their way to Baden's Bluff, Highwall, Erenhead, Caradul, Sharuun, etc...
+
+
You can tell the tales from ANY vantage point you like... from Sarcosan/Erenlander/Dorn resistance, from human mercenaries for the Shadow, from the Elves point of view, from gnome traders, from Orc and other Shadow Minions, from Legates preaching of the coming fires of backlash, or even from your favorite NPCs (big-Aradil or small-Belal).
+
+
You can tell the tales from any future point, as a story of myth told in a time hundreds/thousands of years in the future, or as a bedtime tale for children, or as a wave of strength for other races (Dwarves) to reunite, or from secret secret races/demons looking to use this story for their own means.
+
+
Tell the tales in shakespearian or greek style, in poem, rhyme, or even song!! Coin new terms or phrases. Make everyone KNOW THE NAME "First-Hold" and the heroes that fought there (PCs and/or NPCs alike).

Write multiple tales. Long or short.

NOTE...
This can either go toward your total xp as normal.
OR
I will consider (your suggestions) for actually ALLOWING you to spend this xp on MAGIC ITEMS that "make sense" for you to have found on the battlefield if you wish!!! (ie. you can "buy" them from the DMG or the Magic Item Compendium or other books - all with my approval of course)
