==WORSHIP==

Let's say I want this game session's MAIN encounter or THEME of the story/adventure is to be dealing with "worship" of the PCs and NPCs from various means such as religious cultures, tv/movie, corporate deals, and even simple fans clubs seeking them out...

For all good, bad and ugly on how they contact and interact with the PCs who now have godlike powers.

- What does the game session (scene by scene) consist of?

- What red herrings and other additions could be added for contrast or parallels?

- How do you tie in all the PCs?

Act 1:

• Establishing scene: this is where the conflict presents itself if possible all of the characters should either witness or be involved in the scene. Lets say a super human zealot is captured and his radical views are stirring up dissent in the general populace polarizing people. The PCs are involved by being interviewed by the press or being asked to attend the trial as witnesses..

• the Super Human Zealot has Super Charismatic powers with subtle as an extra making his speeches "empowering" but also subtle mind controlling! How will the PCs know??

• he/she probably has other of the powered people "brainwashed" to the belief who's minds might crack and do something negative

• I love the idea of being interviewed and being a witness to the crime, twisted perhaps when this zealot elects to be his own lawyer....... (or lawyer for his minion that committed the crime)

• Court of public Opinion: After the statement is made public. The PCs will need to deal with the effects of their statement. As an added twist reveal the super was actually being framed and regardless of what the PC's said the super's supporters demonize them and turn everything they said into something completely different

Public opinion affects include:

o radical protestors outside their headquarters. You could even have extremists from both sides those who think the characters are being too lenient and other who think they are being too harsh.

o Political extremists (professional talking heads) twisting whatever they say on "news" networks

o Wannabee who do things to "impress" the characters not really understanding what the characters meant.

• perhaps someone (a scientist) finding a way to track WHO has a power and what power level (combo of Baltar from Battlestar and the Assessment feat) that then tells the PCs that NO the "believed super zealot" was NOT a super. When in fact he WAS but he got to the scientist first!!

(ie. he can now continue to plague them and be thought NOT to have powers in the court of public opinion!!)

==STUDY==

What if the MAIN encounter or THEME of the story/adventure is "study" of the PCs, NPCs and their powers and effects on the world.

==NIGHTLINE INTERVIEW==

the spokesman for our group went on nightline to clarify a few things. The Gm had Capt. Thunder, and Unifier on as well Unifier spouted out his hate and talked about all the good he had done My character pointed out how many good heroes mysteriously disappearred under his rule. this continued with several of our group feeding me lines until Unifier neutralized my powers and tried to goad me into attacking on TV. I knew what he wanted and refused to give him the photo op. something which would've really backfired had I so much as blasted him.

props to our Gm for making a tense tete a tete
