This system consists of 7 planets and 2 asteroid belts. The 5th planet, a gas giant, with a dozen moons, has a communications station located on the second largest moon. A dozen people manage the communications station at a time. It was established several years ago before the station was began or additional exploration of the surrounding systems had started.

The third planet has a colony of 1000 on it's lone moon. Someday the colony may expand to a few thousand, but no more as the moon is barren. It is a joint effort between government and multiple businesses to provide a trade connection into this system from your home system, and a small station for starship maintenance. The world below is in-hospital with a toxic atmosphere and very rugged, rough terrain. It is largely unexplored at this point, with substantial rewards available if anything of value is found on the surface, or more likely beneath the surface.

* Lucky's Tavern: the least bad tavern at the base.

Spencer gives Cassandra his well-rehearsed diatribe on the sad state of leisure on Reni:

"So here's the deal sister. There's two watering holes on this rock. Ones bad and the other's really bad. I'd stick to the just plain bad one, as the really bad one waters their drinks down something awful. And it's pretty rough. Called the Rusty Screw. I got knifed the last time I was in there because...well, just because...

The less bad place is called Lucky's Tavern. Name's ironic on account of the owner Markis lost an eye along with burning up half his face in a work accident. Then his wife left him because he was so ugly. But the company was at fault so they paid him out and he opened his establishment."

"If you see a really ugly guy behind the bar, don't call him Lucky, call him Markis. Trust me."

He looks to the others... "Lucky's? I'm buying."

* The Rusty Screw: the worst of the bars!

* The Red & Black: general distribution center, general products.

* The Juice Goose: general distribution center, general products, but carries all manner of legal munitions and firearms, and is rumored to trade in illegal firearms.

* Ships in Port:

** The Impeteux: Captain Dante Volante, a real feisty man. The ship was here when you first arrived, and they've also been to Wuey and Paplo, and are direct competitors in both places for you. They went to Dibru and tried to force things a bit too much. Currently back for repairs. May have cargo, information, etc. to work with. He's a direct competitor, but you're all out here on the frontier and everyone knows it.

**The Tarn: Captain Anya Alder, an experience woman from the Detis Confederacy, a retired naval officer, out trying to make her way in the exploration and/or merchant world. She's a newbie at it, but a very experienced, proven pilot and would be exceptional in ship combat.....depending on what she got for a crew. She's just arrived with her ship in the sector. It's likely she retired and found it very distasteful, so decided to try this as a retirement gig.

**Chilton's Aid: Captain Varna Vasser. She has sponsorship from a conglomerate and a new, shiny ship, with a crew that looks like a corporate crew. Whether it's just looks or they're that well funded and supplied, it's hard to tell.
