X47 grew up in a research facility on a research cruiser. He was one of 100 children that were used in psychic experimentation. Shortly after his 15th birthday Naval commandos capture the cruiser searching for illegal maltech research. They found it but also found X47. It was later discovered that he was the only survivor of the original 100 children. The other children had be killed in the experimentations or discarded as failures. It was determined that his power of healing was what kept him alive. Medical examination for X47 concluded that an alien strain of DNA had been spliced with his DNA.

During the battle for the cruiser a squad of commandos got pinned down. One of their men was severely wound. X47 teleported to the wounded commando and put him in biostasis until he could be evacuated. Because of this the commandos adopted him. They started to call him Doc. They falsified his records and he became the units medic. He participated in multiple mission and saved more than one of the commandos lives. At the age of 18 (22 by his records) the Commando unit was disbanded due to budget cuts. X47 and several other of the commandos decided to go to the civilian sector and became mercenaries.

He is slowly getting over his time on the research cruiser but still wakes up with cold sweats and nightmares. Most of this time on the cruiser has been suppressed.

X47 is a young man with commando regulation high and tight of reddish brown hair and a constant, but patchy five o’clock shadow. Maybe in the future he will be able to grow a proper beard.
