The following skills aren't used in X-COM: Faith, Focus, Language (X-COM Operatives can be assumed to know the major languages of the world, and simultaneous translators are available for any situation where that isn't sufficient), Spellcasting and Weird Science.<br>
 
Psionics will be available eventually, but not at the start of the campaign.
