Races have advantages and disadvantages, including ability bonuses and race features. Each level of ability bonus increases the race’s CP by 1. Racial bonuses to abilities also increase the ability’s maximum level. If a new character has a maximum level limit of 5, and a character’s race gives him a +2 bonus to stalking ability, that character can have up to 7 stalking levels. tiny (2 CP) gives a +2 bonus to agility. Tiny characters are not hurt by falling and do not have to make landing rolls. This feature reduces the amount of weight you can pack, carry or lift to one tenth of the weight a normal sized character can pack, carry or lift. It also allows you to be as light as 1 kg, even if this means you can carry several times your own body weight. small (1 CP) gives a +1 bonus to agility and a +5 bonus to landing rolls. This feature halves the weight you can pack, carry or lift, but also allows you to weigh half as much as other characters. big (2 CP) adds 1 extra damage to knockout and wrestling attacks. Big characters occupy 4 squares or 7 hexes. This feature doubles the amount of weight you can pack, carry or lift. Big characters weigh at least twice as much as normal sized characters. huge (3 CP) adds 2 extra damage to knockout and wrestling attacks. Huge characters occupy 9 squares or 7 hexes. This feature multiplies the amount of weight you can pack, carry or lift by five times. Huge characters weigh at least five times as much as normal sized characters. enormous (4 CP) adds 3 extra damage to knockout and wrestling attacks. Enormous characters occupy 16 squares or 19 hexes. This feature multiplies the amount of weight you can pack, carry or lift by ten times. Enormous characters weigh at least ten times as much as normal sized characters. immense (5 CP) adds 4 extra damage to knockout and wrestling attacks. Immense characters occupy 25 squares or 19 hexes. This skill multiplies the amount of weight you can pack, carry or lift by twenty times. Immense characters weigh at least twenty times as much as normal-sized characters. {| !size!!CP!!squares!!hexes!!effects |- |align="center"|tiny |align="center"|2 |align="center"| |align="center"| |pack/carry/lift 0.2/0.5/1 kg × strength
no falling damage
+2 agility |- |align="center"|small |align="center"|1 |align="center"| |align="center"| |pack/carry/lift 1/2.5/5 kg × strength
+5 to landing rolls
+1 agility |- |align="center"|(none) |align="center"|0 |align="center"| |align="center"| |pack/carry/lift 2/5/10 kg × strength |- |align="center"|big |align="center"|2 |align="center"| |align="center"| |pack/carry/lift 4/10/20 kg × strength
+1 wrestling and knockout damage |- |align="center"|huge |align="center"|3 |align="center"| |align="center"| |pack/carry/lift 10/25/50 kg × strength
+2 wrestling and knockout damage |- |align="center"|enormous |align="center"|4 |align="center"| |align="center"| |pack/carry/lift 20/50/100 kg × strength
+3 wrestling and knockout damage |- |align="center"|immense |align="center"|5 |align="center"| |align="center"| |pack/carry/lift 40/100/200 kg × strength
+4 wrestling and knockout damage |} Characters cannot use weapons designed for characters two sizes smaller or larger than themselves. They cannot use clothing or armor designed for characters one size smaller or larger than themselves. Clothing and armor can be modified to fit characters one size smaller than the clothing or armor’s original design. This modification requires a craftsmanship roll whose difficulty is 10 plus any ability bonuses the clothing or armor provides. Add 1 point to the difficulty for any other special features the clothing or armor has. If the roll fails, the modified armor doesn’t work and it can no longer be used by anyone. Armor that has already been modified to fit smaller characters cannot be modified again to fit an even smaller size of character. reach (1 CP) Add 1 space to the range of this character’s close range attacks. natural weapons (1 CP) The character can use fighting or knockout ability without a hand weapon. no hands (-1 CP) The character cannot use hand-held weapons or shields. odd shape (-1 CP) This feature is worth 0 CP if the character is not normal size. Clothing or armor designed for humanoid characters must be modified before this character can use it. The armor must be designed for characters the same size or one size larger than this character. Follow the procedure for modifying armor to fit smaller characters. Even if the size of the armor has not changed, the armor cannot be modified again to fit a differently-shaped creature.
