Background: Corbin lived in a small village in the Wildlands. His parents were of noble birth and he was destined to follow their footsteps. However at age 13, agents of the Kal-a-nar empire slaughtered his parents, captured him and took him north.

Corbin survived. He was enslaved and forced to fight in the blood pits. Then members of the Maelstorm saw him fight. Seeing his potential, they 'recruited him'. His time with the Maelstorm has made him slightly jaded, but his heart remained true to the Wilderlands. After he was left for dead after a major battle, he took advantage of his assumed death and escaped. Returning to his birth home, he tries to use his skills against those that forced him to become the murderer he has become.
