===Appearance===

===Appearance===
Grrwrrawl are bipedal wolves, of a classic 'anthropomorphic' design, with three fingers and opposeable thumbs. Two legs end in digitigrade feet. They average about 2.8 meters in size, and generally weight around 300 kg. Fur coloration varies with gender, but fur can be any color range from white to black, as well as various shades of brown.

The average Wolven male is about 1,90 meters tall, average weight is 100  kg. The body is covered with a longhaired fur, thickness varying from region to region on the body parts, with thinner hairgrowth on the facial part. Their heads usually seem a bit tiny compared to the rather bulk shoulders. The form of the head can be compared to that of an earthly Wolve, with some obvious differences: The neck is longer, and the eyes are quite big. Also, there are only few Wolven people who posess real fangteeth, and those who do are more considered ill-breed than anything else. The broad shoulders and heavy chest melt into a considerably thin and slender "stomach- back- part", the standing Wolven always has an arched back. The arms are thin and slender, with long hands, five fingers and one thumb, these often show excessive nail- growth. Very muscular legs end in feet, which are paws grown flat and big, to be able to stabilise the huge body. Wolven posess no tail, thus the use for the leg muscles and bigger feet, this enables them to walk upright.

===Variability Among Individuals and Genders===

Males make 80 % of the average Wolven population. Females, a rare sight in a Wolven society, pose an almost unbearable attraction to the Wolven male, not necessarily from their physical composure but from their eyes, which are bigger than those of the male Wolven, and often are coloured in more than one tone.

===Locomotion & Manipulation===
Despite having a smaller set of fingers, they are unusualy capable at handling objects in their hands (some objects must be designed for them in mind, however). Likewise, they have little trouble maneuvering around in small spaces, but their tails have a habit of striking what they're avoiding if they're nervous, or if there are many smaller objects around.

===Communcation & Interaction===
+
They are used to walk on solid surfaces, few Wolven can swim or climb without technological help, because their arms need to be specially trained to become muscular enough for such tasks.
Though possessing a fully-functioning verbal language, when interacting among fellow Wolven, most will resort to an equally complex body language. This uses hundreds of variations on ear, tail, fur, and eye position and movements to relay critical information.

===Body Chemistry===

===Body Chemistry===
Wolven are a ‘standard’ carbon-based species, with iron-based blood and a calcium-based skeletal system.

===Chemical and Environmental Hazards===

An average Wolven can endure a temperature span from - 20 *C to 20 *C without any side effects because of their effectually bodyheating fur. That differs individually, and colder temperatures might be endured with additional clothing protection. If a Wolven body gets too warm for more than half an hour, the Wolven suffers from nausea, heart problems and quickly dies. Fire is another problem, obvious for a fur- coated people. The immune system is almost resistant to known illnesses, but reacts quite slowly on new viruses, which makes it very dangerous for an unprepared Wolven to enter another environment.

===Senses===

===Senses===
The Wolven senses of taste and touch are equivalent to most other species. They have slightly impared color differentiation, but have excellent night-sight capabilities, equivalent to lower-end light-amp equipment. Hearing range extends slightly into the subsonic, but high into the ultrasonic ranges. Their sense of smell is where they excel, being able to detect and differentiate nearly 1000 times more scents than a human.

===Lifespan & Lifecycles===
The average lifespan, for those that die of natural causes, has an assumed maximum of 120 years, with maturity at 10 years of age and the onset of old age at 70 years old.

===Combat Capabilities/Natural Weapons===
Grrwrrawl possess two primary natural weapons, the first being claws at the tips of all their digits. Though these tend to be somewhat blunt and more suited for digging, they can still injure. They also sport sharp teeth designed to hold and tear through flesh, mounted within very powerful jaws.
