Shepard Iskariot (formerly an Operative of Parliament) is the caretaker of the [[Muir#Shepherd's Mission|Mission Santa Ria]] (formerly Mission Santa Maria). He takes care of two dozen people infected with [[Reaver's Disease| TSE]]. As penance for some past crimes he has also infected himself, by eating infected brains. Iskariot has managed a scheme to weaken the ranks of the Reavers. When the infected victims of TSE reach a point of no return, he shuttles them to a disabled ship, there, he sends a distress call, warning away normal ships, and hopefully luring Reavers. It appears his plan worked, at least partially, in that the Reaver did eat of some his subjects. <br><br>
