[[Fornau_Chronicles]] '''Background''' Donnagier is a second-generation merchant, building his mercantile from what his father had started, and has expanded to shipping cargo not only up and down the Seddic to the greater cities that lie along the mountains that ran from the north-and-west but is now starting (at something of an expense) sending goods along the Gelredden south to the cities and towns hat are forming towards the lands south-and-east of ''[[The Hole]]''. Likewise, has started buying and selling ore and some processed metals, providing a small boom in both river towns as well as down up and down the Seddic. He is, of course, not the only one doing so, though other merchants run routes across the Great Grass Sea along the far less dangerous northern boundaries of the plain, Donnagier has his eyes on establishing a much shorter trade route across this narrowed section of the sometimes treacherous Great Grass Sea. He is known to be married, though few have seen his wife. It is said that she is an invalid and has been confined to her bed since before her twentieth birthday. There are no known children. '''Personal Appearance''' Donnagier is in his mid-50s, tall and as yet unbent by time, though his once strong and athletic build is slowly showing the signs of his age. His broad chest is slowly settling into a paunch about the waistline. He has a dark-brown beard that is now, as is his hair, graying, though both are kept unstylishly short. '''Attitudes and Attributes''' The merchant thinks deep and long about his business, making informed decisions as much as is possible. Only with his family is he quick on decision or action. He loves a good haggle, and, win or lose, he is known for often having a after-negotiation drink or meal with a competitor. He enjoys nice things and will sometimes spend more than is good on trinkets, trivial items, or even mythical and perhaps magical potential cures for his wife's affliction. Above all, he prizes her over any of his wealth. ''W'': 4 ''R'': 3 ''M'': 5 Skills:
