Lutica was born on the word of Bounties Promise. When it was first discovered it was a green and verdent world sure to become on of the breadbaskets of the sector and so a colony group was dutifully dispatched but they were caught in a warp storm and when the colonists arrived they found a world that did not bare any relation to that lush dream.

Instead they found a nearly barren world were the air, soil and water were more often than not poisonous to human life. Even the creatures and plants that still lived seemed to be finding new and generally horrible ways to kill people in an even more efficient manner. But the colonists preserved and founded the settlements that now dot Bounties landscape, they believe that the planet was created as test by the Emperor for them to prove their devotion to him.

When the Imperium rediscovered the world they found a planet that was even more fanatical than normal and a local order of the Adepta Sororitas in the sector used it as a recruiting ground.

Luticia was one of those who succeeded in the tests and was inducted as was traditional with the Order of the veiled rose it had branches that embraced different methods of dedicating ones self to the Emperor and Luticia spent time in each testing which she best suited for. In the end she was placed with the Militant branch.

This she took to with gusto eagerly smiting the enemies of the emperor with bolter, flamer or chainsword. However she also showed a knack for leading her fellow sisters and began to rise through the ranks, it was likely she would have risen even further if it was not for the incident on Blakes rock. A small convent that Lutica had been deployed to. It fell under attack by a heretic force and after a long drawn out siege it fell only Lutica survived although sorely wounded, she begged permission to be allowed to leave and seek the leader of the attack as an act of penitence for her failure it is this that has led her to sign up with the Rogue Trader Joane Florin.

Lutica is a fiery woman with a no nonsense attitude and absolute belief in the Emperor and her divine duty to him, she is equally able to give stirring sermons or lead the fight from the front.
