*Spencer has worked in space his entire adult life. His homeworld held little use for him, other than the apprenticeship that got him offworld at the age of 16. He landed his first job on a rusty old free trader hauling cargo between the planets of the Detis Confederacy. From there he bounced around from ship to ship for a decade before he found a job working for '''Summit Industries''', one of the larger corporations in the Confederacy. After a few years of working for corporate freight concerns, he jumped at the opportunity to be a part of the '''Reni Outpost''', mainly to get away from the governing bureaucracy out on the frontier. Working to build the outpost got him a line on a ship in need of a crew to explore the new sector. His current goals are 1. to set foot on a world cut off since before the fall and 2. to mod his laser pistol into something more potent. He has a feeling he's going to need it.
