== Civilization ==
Cydeer had been terraformed and is completely inhabitable by humans, but it does lack an natural water so, all the water that is there has been brought from other places or manufactured on the planet.

Otep, has only the a very small atmosphere and is freezing cold. But their are a few settlements.

== People and Culture ==
Pharaoh is one of the [[Starfall:_Stellar_Nations|Stellar Nations]].  Pharaoh is populated almost entirely by humans.  The people here tend to have darker skin and hard and are somewhat tall my human standards.

The people of the Pharaoh system have adopted many of the spiritual ideas of the [[Starfall:_Fraal|Fraal]]. It has been a strong ally of the [[Starfall:_Sol|Sol System]], and is currently a member of the [[Starfall:_Port_Freedom#Galactic_Alliance|Galactic Alliance]].  The people of Pharaoh speak Solar but many are also fluent in a-thoth, a language used for official and religious ceremonies.

The most well known aspect of Pharaohian culture is their practice of mindwalking.  About one fourth of the populations has some training or talent in psionic abilities, and many are quite proficient.  The culture is one that emulates the ideas of the Fraal and the glory of the human race, borrowing many ideas and fashions from the Egyptian Culture of the Earth's Past.

== History ==
Pharaoh was originally founded during the [[Starfall:_Epic_Virus|Exodus]].  The original settlers were enamored with the teachings of the Fraal and Fraal philosophy as well as the glory of the human race, which was in danger of being lost forever.

Pharaoh became an ally the Sol System during the [[Starfall:_Eberian
-War|Eberian War]] and the [[Starfall:_Stellar_War|Galactic War]].  After the Galactic War Pharaoh became a member of the Galactic Senate.

In 2251 a series of terrorist attacks by the [[Starfall:_Lorian_Ashthrone|Lorian Ashthrone]] Cult caused the Galactic Senate to request the formation of a group of highly trained order of psionic warriors to be formed in order to root out the cult.  This order became known as the Order of Guardians and gained such wide spread support that its members became the private warriors of the Alliance and often sever as guards to diplomats and protectors of alliance interests.

== Sed-Atha ==
Sed-Atha is the proper name of Pharaohian mysticism in its present form.  Adherents to this fain believe that all living things in the universe are connected to each other and to a metaphysical center that satisfies the spiritual aspects of life.  The ultimate goal of Sed-Atah is harmony with the universal center, called Ra.  While Sed-Atha does not promote pacifism, it does teach that aggression brings one out of harmony with the universe.  There is a strong monastic tradition within Sed-Atha, and many of its practitioners abstain from activities that are considered to be out of harmony with the universal center.
