A character's class in No Terrans is a temporary role in which they focus their skills and abilities while they adventure across a war-torn, fantastic environment. As characters grow in experience and complete class studies, they may take on more roles and expand their capabilities.

A class is the main element that determines the abilities and skills they possess. While adventuring as a given class, they must focus any experience gained into abilities for the class, until it's completion, at which point they gain any additional abilities or bonuses associated with its completion, and may choose another class to pursue.
