'''Name''': Shane '''Type''': Troublemaker '''Age''': 13 '''Luck Points''': 2 '''Attributes and Skills:''' '''Body''' 5 ''Sneak'' 2 ''Force'' 2 ''Move'' 2 '''Tech''' 2 ''Tinker'' 0 ''Program'' 0 ''Calculate'' 0 '''Heart''' 3 ''Contact'' 1 ''Charm'' 0 ''Lead'' 1 '''Mind''' 3 ''Investigate'' 1 ''Comprehend'' 0 ''Empathize'' 1 '''Iconic Item''': Lighter and Cigarettes '''Problem''': My parents say that I'm good for nothing '''Drive''': My friends and what we do is the only thing not broken in my life '''Pride''': I stood up to the teacher '''Relationships to Other Kids''': Jeff's not that bad. Anyway Maggie's always hanging out with him, so I try to get along. Maggie's another punk, she's more into hardcore while I'm into reggae / ska punk, but she's cool. Her mum's messed up, so I like to look out for her if I can. Kinda like an older brother, sort of thing. '''Relationships to NPCs''': The wood shop teacher, Mr Jenkins, has had it in for me ever since I saw him in the coffee shop with the pharmacist. The town librarian, Sarah Campion, puts books aside for me that she thinks I should read. They're a very eclectic mix. Brandon Callow was being bullied by some jocks. I stopped that from happening again. '''Anchor''': Red, the janitor at school. He lets me sit in his boiler room and smoke and talk and listen to cool music. '''Favourite Song''': Bad Brains, I Against I '''Background''': Shane has always felt left out, mostly because his father has dragged the family around several small towns for his work (or because Shane was thrown out of the local school), and where he was often the only non-white kid (his father is white, his mother black). She's very much the stereotypical black church lady (though often without a black church to go to), and won't let him listen to the type of music he likes, but he does anyway. He's felt the effects of injustice because of his mixed racial background, and while he can't fully articulate his feelings due to his youth, he's angry with the world, and often acts before thinking if someone is being bullied, whether by other kids or authority figures.
