=T'Aler= ==High Concept== Choices are few in Zostra. You can trade your freedom for a measure of security, becoming a herd animal and plaything of degenerate men and gibbering abominations. T'aler's people chose to walk the bare earth of the Norther Wilds. Life was uncertain, with the risk of death by starvation, wild beasts or the elements a constant companion. T'aler knows it is better to be a predator than prey, and has struck off to take the fight to the vile rulers of Zostra. Aspect: : '''Agent of the Free Peoples of the Northern Wilds''' ==Trouble== T'aler has been contemptuous of those who live with stone beneath their feet since the moment he came to Bar Kesh. They are weak, soft, loud and would be dead in hours if they had to tread where T'aler has trod. He keeps very high ascetic standards and looks down on those who do not. Aspect: '''Your Weakness Disgusts Me''' ==First Adventure== In the Northern Wilds outside Bar Kesh, T'aler met a beautiful woman made of wood, whose hair was wildflowers, who spoke in a voice of soft rain. She challenged T'aler to bring her a gift. T'aler snuck into the heart of a sleeping giant, a living deadfall with vines that could snake down a man's throat and stop his heart, or tear a him apart with teeth of thorn and bark. He emerged with a single, crimson acorn and laid it at the woman's feet. "Keep it," she said, laughing as she became the wind and blew away. "I'll find another." Aspect: '''One With the Forest ''' The acorn gives T'aler the power to speak with and command animals, and cause plants to grow wildly or wither. ==Approaches== * +3 Sneaky * +2 Careful, Clever * +1 Forceful, Quick * +0 Flashy ==Stunts== Because T'aler walks with a '''Trackless Step''', he gains a +2 to overcome Sneakily when moving quietly, hiding, or leaving no trail with earth under foot. Because T'aler has '''Eyes of the Owl''', he gains a +2 to overcome Carefully when observing a scene by night outdoors. ==Abbadon's adventure== T'aler heard of a group of cultists and their prisoner from a sly wood fox. He asked a colony of bats to create a distraction for the prisoner, opened a way through the forest for him and harried his pursuers with brambles and biting insects. Aspect: '''People Should Be Free''' ==Ruvyana's adventure== Later, after Abbadon's and Ruvyana have dealt with the highwaymen, T'aler invites them to share his food and fire. He recognizes kindred spirits with similiar goals, despite their strangeness. Aspect: '''I Respect a Fellow Predator''' ==And the Rest== * Refresh 3 * Fate points: 3 * Stress 1[]2[]3[] * Consequences * Minor 2 * Moderate 4 * Severe 6
