The campaign will be using the revised critical hit and fumble charts as provided to players by the DM. Pathfinder core rules will be used, except as noted below. Classes, feats, etc, from 3.5 are allowed and encouraged, subject to modification to mesh with Pathfinder core rules. Races and classes will be modified as presented on this wiki. Alternative weapon group proficiency rules from Unearthed Arcana will be used. Alternative class abilities are allowable if approved by the DM. New abilities must be roughly equivalent in weight to those being replaced. Multiclassing is allowable, but must be incorporated into the character development prior to taking first level of second class. Samples of such incorporation would be studying with an NPC of that class, or developing a character backstory that makes it logical. DM reserves the right to veto any power determined not to fit with the nature of the campaign world or to be too unbalanced (that's right, I'm looking at you, Tome of Battle). Retraining of feats may be permitted by the DM. Doing so requires not using the feat being replaced for a full level before the new feat is obtained. New or replacement characters enter the game at one full level below the average level of the current party. So, for example, if the average level of the current party is 5.75, the new character would start at 4th level, with 75% of the experience required to hit 5th level. The previous house rules for unconsciousness and dying have been superseded by the Pathfinder, which were very similar in nature. Complaining about the DM on public message boards will likely annoy him. There will be no repercussions to your character, but you're not likely to get invited to his next birthday party. If there is any disagreement over house rules or interpretation of core rules, the appropriate solution is to bring up the disagreement at a gaming session and decide on the proper application of said rule through a group discussion and, if necessary, a vote.
