Siraj offended Charles at a poetry competition at the Upbeat Cafe, by accidentally reciting a poem written by Charles in the competition. Olson threatens Siraj on his way out, and later beats Siraj nearly to death. It's a miracle that Siraj somehow found himself in the candy shop, behind the wall of the alley, that allowed him to get away.
