http://fc01.deviantart.com/images3/i/2004/183/6/1/The_airship.jpg The building of the Flying Piglet was commissioned five years ago by one of the richer Lartan lords as the crown jewel of their House, a luxury cruiser bigger and better than any other. Although it no longer is a top performance ship, it the Flying Piglet still performs admirable. The Flying Piglet has been borrowed to Winterweir in exchange for some beneficial trade arrangements with its owners. == The Ship == The Flying Piglet sports a twin pair of rear engines capable of pushing the big ship to the impressive speed of 40 miles per hour, and it's kept flying using a state of the art levitation schemes and a four lifting gas containers incorporated to in the hull. The ship is about a hundred and fifty feet long, and fifty feet wide, and got five floors besides the deck. The first floor us used mostly for storage, the second floor is the engine room, the third floor contains the kitchen and crew cabinets, the fourth floor is for guest and the fifth floor has a great ball room for banquettes and other social events. The lodges in a separate room connected to the bridge. The Flying Piglet is completely unarmed. == Crew == http://img48.imageshack.us/img48/4985/push4786135eac9cgs6.jpg It sports a crew of roughly fifty persons, although only half of that number is actually concerned with flying the ship. The rest is servants and kitchen staff or the like. The Flying Piglet also sports its own jazz orchestra hired especially for this occasion. == Known Crew members == http://img48.imageshack.us/img48/8224/dddob5.jpg * '''Captain Rupine''': A man of mystery, this strange enigma somehow became the captain of Lartan airship the Flying Piglet even though himself is by no means even remotely Lartan, but by all measures quite crazy. Looking more like some kind of wayward pirate with his one missing eye and and rough unkempt hair, Captain Rupine looks quite out of place together with the rigidly disciplined Lartan crew, but make no mistake, Rupine is where he should be. Chances are that Rupine is the best airship captain in Teth-Ammon, which is quite likely the reason he's still alive, considering the fact that he's certainly the ''craziest'' airship captain. He also smiles a lot. * '''Lieutenant Ming''': This pretty unremarkable Lartan woman is Captain Rupine's second in command, although you wouldn't believe it when you see the way she yells at him. Lieutenant Ming is the probably the man behind the man. Well, woman in this case. * '''Tacano''': This neurotic artificer is the chief engineer of The Flying Piglet. His nervousness aside he's fiercely loyal towards Captain Rupine. * '''Aost''': This strange ''man'' is the steward on board the Flying Piglet. He commands the servants and kitchen staff with an iron fist...Dressed in velvet. * '''Twitcher''': A cowardly ratkin that is leader for the jazz orchestra hired for entertainment on board the Flying Piglet.
