The Infinite City is too wonderful for mortals to understand or comprehend. So says its least god, Seven Thousand Wonders Unfolding. The reality is that the city is currently lying beneath a small branch of a nameless river, ten feet deep, and if its little god knows its current condition, he isn't telling. It has been sunk beneath the water for so long that it could be entirely flooded at this point. Perhaps it is rusted out, or inhabited by fell creatures from the underworld. Perhaps it is still pristine, awaiting its Master's return. The Infinite City was a technological marvel of the first age. Though it never saw full use, it was rumored to be able to crawl across the land like a giant spider, fire blasts of essence that could level mountain ranges, and convert its form entirely into one great warstrider if necessary. It housed at least three factory cathedrals in its ever-shifting passages, and held many other smaller first age weapons in readiness within. Its greatest power was always its ability to adapt and change as necessary. In fact, upon its creation it instantly expanded its destiny integration system and used it to predict the coming usurpation. Perhaps it is still changing even now, becoming something entirely different with each passing century. The city is sealed beneath a layer of Celestial Circle wards, and is thus inaccessible to the current incarnation of its owner. ---- Heaven's Mandate
