'''[[Keep on the Borderlands]]''' One day while meditating and study his arts, Red is interrupted. Someone has tracked him to the center of the Elf-lands and has specifically asked to see him. There's alarm amongst all about how this happened. It's impossible, or so they thought for a human to simply walk past their pickets, let alone find the sacred center of the forest, but she's done it.... It's the beautiful, young maiden and her unicorn that he met in the Amber Garden. As he approaches, he looks deep into her eyes. She appears physically as a maiden, not yet 20 years old, but there's far, far more years behind the eyes than that. She says, "My Lord, I've finally found you. You treated me with kindness and then left me in peace, and then asked for my release from the garden, something I could never have done without someone freely asking for it. I have come here to offer you my service, if you'll take it, and to ask you to look over me for I know not this world and know nobody else in it, except you and your companions." Absently, Red notes that chest is on the back of the unicorn, though it's not tied on him. OOC: I don't have a name for her or the unicorn. Feel free to name them if you want. FYI, she is the one I'm offering as your new retainer....and the unicorn may well be considered a separate retainer, because well he's a unicorn! RS: I've stuck this under Red's retainers in the wiki. I think her name will be Isabeau, in tribute to Ladyhawke. Though tempted by bob as a name, I'll name the Unicorn Alummere.
