== Biography == A merciless and terrible man, interested only in justice, the Nameless Minister holds the dubious distinction of "He who is most terrified of [[Emerald Morning]]." Irrationally convinced that Morning is actually a Daoist Immortal in disguise, the Minister's career as Morning's handler was characterized by intense paranoia and bizarre supplication. Fearful for his own afterlife, the Minister strove to uphold Daoist ideals in all actions around Morning. Desiring the secrets of immortality, he scrutinized his operative relentlessly. In the end, he discovered nothing, and turning to his Metal Liquid Formless Technique, he beseeched the Emperor instruct him - what should he do? The response chilled him to the bone: "Kid seems good with people. Should ask him how to get laid more." While that did indeed seem like something Emperor Hu would think, the Minister by this point was too far gone to recognize that, and became convinced that Heaven was playing an elaborate joke on him. As such, he is famously inconsistent with granting Morning's requests, believing each to be a test sent from the universe - if he acts when he should not, or fails to act when he should, he could be condemned to an thousand years in Hell! What is more important: the letter of the law, or the spirit? Force of arms, or cunning tricks? Artichokes, or cucumbers? Morning and [[Shining Moon]] have no idea this is occuring and simply believe the Minister has cracked under the stress of his position. == Inspiration == The Nameless Minister was first mentioned in the WotG online supplement, Tears in the Grass.
