Editing The Scarlet Civil War

For use with the campaign [[City in the Sky]]

The '''Scarlet Dynasty''' has torn itself apart in the frenzy following the characters' last campaign. The Great Houses have split into two main factions with many independants taking a neutral stance and individuals chosing sides at will. The Houses themselves do not represent everyone under their banner, after all, there are an awful lot of Dragonblooded and everyone is entitled to their opinion (or at least, thats what the ones that break from their House say).

'''House Cathak''' has largely followed the lead of Cathak Cainan and have stayed with the Immaculates.

'''House Cynis''', always liberal to begin with, is willing to grudgingly give the Anathe- excuse us - Solars a chance.

'''House Iselsi''' does not have a stance on the issue. Their ultimate loyalty is to the Realm and the Dynasty, and they will do pretty much anything to assist them. To that end, they're willing to entertain the notion of Solars not being Anathema, but only if they can prove that they're not going to turn into the mad tyrant god-kings that they used to be.

Much as many of the Immaculates hate it, '''House Ledaal''' is willing to give the Solars a shot, particularly if they're willing to help eliminate the threat posed by the Deathlords. Many in the Immaculate Order are, of course, outraged, since they've long had many allies in the Wyld Hunt.

'''Mnemon''' has ensured that the House that bears her name is firmly entrenched on the Immaclate side of things. Whats more, she's just about ready to make her bid for the throne - she's been waiting for an upset like this for a long time. That said, some members of her House have gone the other direction and she herself might even be prepared to give the Solars a chance if they were to help her in her move on the throne.

'''House Nellens''' has also sided with the Immaculates. They're well aware that they have much less support infrastructure than the other Houses and hope that whoever sits the throne notices that they remained staunch allies of the Order.

'''House Peleps''' is largely on the side of the Immaculates. This House is more divided than most and are more willing to give the Solars a chance regardless of their formal position - as long as it doesn't endanger the Realm, of course.

The members of '''House Ragara''' have, for the most part, quietly taken no sides. They sit perched on the fence, waiting to see which side will come out on top and carefully continue to fund Houses of both factions. Individuals are much the same - they're largely indifferent to the Solar issue.

The largely military '''House Sesus''' is cautiously neutral towards the Solars. They've proven that they can be helpful - once. They certainly don't trust them though.

'''House Tepet''', recently decimated by a Solar in the north, is terrified of the prospect of a large scale Solar force. While only mildly Immaculate before, many of its members have become exceptionally pious since the incident over the Imperial City. That said, many of its younger members (or even the older, more practical ones) - a great deal of which are adopted outcastes (and thus, less indoctrinated into the Immaculate Philosphy) - are willing to hear out the Anathema.

Finally, '''House V'neef''' has cautiously sided with the Immaculates. They're too small to be considered radicals.
