First, the Middle Eastern Team. They'll get a name later, I suck at names. As I mentioned in my pitch, there is a long tradition of monstrous and heroic folk banding together to protect the weak in the Middle-East, going back to at least the time of the Prophet. The last such team disbanded sometime in the 1930s, and the situation was not right for a new team for a long time. But as the world seems to be leaving the 20th century for the bright future, one old wizard says "Enough!" After working to help people int he shadows for decades, he now steps into the light, and decides to bring a new team back together. So far, the roster includes the half-human son of Angra-Mainyu, a young Palestinian woman discovering her Djinni heritage, a Jewish Golem (but all futurist looking, because it's cool), a 300-year old GhΓ»l who disguise herself as a man to function in society and a rich alchemist who serves as their support and financial backing (trying not to go into too many details here for the roster, but I'm trying to give an idea of what the team looks like). After barely having time to organize themselves, they stop a dangerous terrorist attack, exposing themselves to the world. Their situation vis-a-vis most governments of the region is shaky at best. They are seen as a bother by most, but are well-loved by the common people, leading most governments to tread carefully around them, much like they must be careful with who they anger. It's not going to be easy, that's for sure. [[Arnino Storm Picks (Tobyverse)]] [[The Tobyverse Players]] [[Tobyverse]]
