Editing The Speakeasy at the End of Time



==The Locale==


In Terminus there are many awe and horror inspiring spectacles to behold. Few of them though, are as pleasant as the Speakeasy at the End of Time. Once a prosperous tavern, the Speakeasy at the End of Time now exists as the only remains of now dead and forgotten Dimensional Plane, trapped at the very edge of the Void. And that is the novelty of the whole place. In a way, the Speakeasy was destroyed eons ago. In another way, the massive powers tugging at the Speakeasy created its very own time-sphere that honestly don't give a rat's ass about the established scientific believes.

The inside of the Speakeasy at the End of Time is seemingly that of a thirties' underground bar. It smells just like bars ought to smell and above the silent chatter of patrons the sound of generic jazz music can be heard. It's hard to tell exactly how large the the Speakeasy is, but it seems as if it always is slightly less that half-full, regardless of how many people are actually occupying the bar. Regardless of there's anyone smoking or not, there's always a faint cloud of smoke hanging above the air. Furniture consist mostly of slightly uncomfortable oak chairs and round tables with red cotton cloth on top. Against the wall hangs an inappropriately high amount paintings with either smoking dogs playing poker or Coca-Cola ads as the motif. Through the few windows that can be found you get a breathtaking (and quite horrifying) view of the Void as it's endlessly devoting its time on swallowing the Speakeasy.

To get to the Speakeasy at the End of Time is tricky. It usually gets down to being in the right place at the right time while doing the right things. There aren't many who knows how to do it. The most common way of doing it though is by getting wasted on Wednesday and then singing "Auld Lang Syne while jumping on your left foot while outside a Strip Club aimed at straight women. It works with some certainty.



==The Staff==


'''Joe''': Joe is the bartender and owner of the Speakeasy at the End of Time. He's an portly man in his early fifties with balding black hair and an apathetic face that always gives the impression that he has recently exerted himself (he's has never been seen leaving the Bartender's disk though, so how this is possible nobody knows). Joe always wears a perfectly clean white apron and a red Polo shirt beneath. his vocabulary consists of three sentences:
"Can do."
"Cannot do."
"I think you've had enough for tonight mate."  
Pick a language. Any language. Joe will be able to tell you these sentences in that language.

'''Ann''': Ann is the first of the five waitresses in the Speakeasy. She's the shortest one of the five and has long yellow hair that's usually set up in a pony tail. Her eyes are blue like the summer sky. She smiles a lot and talks a lot and there isn't much else to say about her. She's fond of chit-chatting with the regulars of the male gender.

'''Anna''': The second one of the waitress quintet, she's a bit like Ann, just taller and smarter. She got brown hair and eyes. Somehow, Anna knows every patron by first name basis, regardless of they are regulars or there their first time.

'''Joanna''': The third one of the girls is the tomboyish Joanna. She's slightly taller than the other five girls and always keeps her red hair cut short. She likes to exchange insults with the some of the patrons.

'''Fredrika''': Fredrika if the fourth of the waitresses. She got long black hair and blue eyes. Fredrika is either mute or she just doesn't like to talk. Either way the rest of the waitresses all swear solemnly that they've never heard her utter a single word.

'''Johanna''': The last of the girls is the constantly surly Johanna. She got brown messy hair and green eyes that have a constant look of annoyance about them. You can usually spot her in a crowd by searching for the cloud of smoke rising from her ever faithful cigarette.

'''Alexander''': Alexander is the bouncer at the Speakeasy at the end of time. He makes sure that everyone stays calm and that no one does anything stupid. Alexander got very loose terms of what stupid is though, and more than once a patron has been thrown up for looking at him twice. Still, Alexander is pretty handy to have around, and when push comes to show, no one has ever beaten Alexander. Ever. They've not even managed to damage the furniture before getting thrown out. Alexander is an extremely tall man with graying black hair and dark and remarkable angry eyes. He can best be described as "mean-looking". There's just certain "I want to kick your ****ing ***" quality about him.

'''Sunny''': Sunny is the guy who opens the door for the guests when they enter. He's completely bald wears a pair of round glasses on his face. He's best recognized by the perpetually faint smile on his face. He's good at saying "Good evening my ladies and gentlemen" (he says it regardless of whose entering) Nothing else is known about him. He seems like a decent enough fellow though.

'''Le Chef''': Besides alcohol the Speakeasy at the End of Time also offers grub to its customers. Not food mind you, grub. Regardless of what you ordered you'll be given a plate filled with this grub. As a rule it's usually yellowish and brown and tastes a bit stale, but otherwise it's okay. The man responsible for making this grub is ''Le Chef''. Le Chef does not exist as person. No, rather Le Chef is actually a disembodied voice that lives in the Speakeasy's kitchen, where it spends its time spouting vitriol in French (or, in case your not from Earth, the closest thing imaginable to French) and, presumably, making grub.

'''The Jazz Band''' They are the Speakeasy at the End of Time's very own jazz band. Their name is "The Jazz Band" and they never stop playing. They are good, but nothing worth applauding at. Still, they give that certain atmosphere necessary in a pub like this. Nobody knows the name of the members of the band though, as the band is yet to take a break from playing. Strangely though, they never seem to repeat themselves.

==The Regulars==


'''The Old Drunkard''': The Old Drunkard is probably the most regular of the regulars, as he has never left the Speakeasy. Or sobered up for that matter. Most people view him as a part of the inventory.

'''The Happy Crowd''': The Happy Crowd is a basically a crowd of happy people. They always sit a few tables away from you, and they are always happy. They laugh a lot, usually in choir, but you'll never hear what was so funny in the first place. If you try to locate the Happy Crowd you'll just find a not so happy customers where you could have sworn the Happy Crowd was sitting. Fact is though, that the Happy Crowd is a few tables away. Always a few tables away, regardless of where you sit.

'''Elvis Presley in Incognito''': Yes.

'''[[Mr. Eternal]]''': Graham frequently visits the Speakeasy a the End of Time to get properly wasted. He's said to be the only person who knows every possible way to get to the Speakeasy from Earth. He knows the other regulars on first name basis.

'''Herr Coppenhagen''': A small bald old man with thick spectacles who always occupy the left corner of the bardesk. He always got a half full pint of beer in front of him and is said to be the only person who knows that which shall not be named (Graham Autumn's middle name)

'''Three Squirrels''' Its three squirrels. What did you expect?

'''P'Ter L'Anley''': A former Grue infiltrator that made the mistake to peep just a bit do deep into Graham Autumn's vast collection of memories. The experience nearly killed P'Ter and quite efficiently severed him from the Grue Unity. He know spends most of his time sitting by himself at one of the tables further inside the Speakeasy, where he likes to sip on his drink and brood dark thoughts for himself.

'''Others''': The rest of the patrons who frequents the Speakeasy at the End of Time is a diverse lot. Expect many a hairy giant monkeys and luckless moisture farmers.
