Hello. I’m a photographer for the Detroit Evening Times. We met briefly last week.<br><br>
I know this will be of small consolation to you, but I wanted you to know that the men who attacked your husband have paid for their crimes. I’m not sure what the police have told you or what has been in the KC papers (I’ve been out on assignment here in NY, so I’m a bit out of touch), but I’m sure you’ve heard something about the grisly murders (and explosion) at that abandoned farm.<br><br>
This was a farm that Mr. Bitterman was tasked to foreclose. I do not know the details, but it is likely he stumbled on, in some capacity, the nefarious doings at the farm. He was simply doing his job and ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time.<br><br>
