==Summary==
The main subject in the [[The_World_Tree|World Tree]] campaign, '''Ra-Orn''' is a spirit of fey and nature through all of the planes.  '''Ra-Orn''' is the guardian of life and is the life force behind the Feywild and Material Plane.  The World Tree is the physical life force of '''Ra-Orn''', which is in the form of a gargantuan tree, and can only be destroyed by extremely dark magic.

==Origin==
During the battle between '''Vareus''' and '''Katasis''', it is said that '''Vareus''' "cut out the heart of '''Katasis''' and cast into oblivion" where it was able to grow and recreate itself.  '''Katasis''', with her final moments, separated '''Vareus''' in his moment of glory and pride into his three true selves ('''[[The_World_Tree/Althum|Althum]]''', '''[[The_World_Tree/Nazuma|Nazuma]]''', and '''[[The_World_Tree/Gagaur|Gagaur]]''').  When the Material Plane was formed by '''[[The_World_Tree/Gielel|Gielel]]''' and '''[[The_World_Tree/Hasdum|Hasdum]]''', the heart of '''Katasis''' collided against the veins of '''Vareus''', forming the Feywild and the Underdark parallel to the Material Plane as they attempted to finish one another, only stopped by the Material Plane itself.  When the war had ended, each piece of '''Katasis''' and '''Vareus''' created the current greater deities, with '''Ra-Orn''' ruling over life and nature and '''Gagaur''' ruling over death and the Underdark.

'''Ra-Orn''', now forever divided from '''Gagaur''', formed two titans to create the world while '''Ra-Orn''' began the beginnings of nature and life in order to cross over. '''[[The World Tree/Turrux|Turrux]]''', the creator of earth and stone, formed the lands and sea and filled each with minerals and resources usable to '''Ra-Orn's''' creations.  '''[[The World Tree/Reviril|Reviril]]''' formed the sky, sun, and moon by scavenging the remains of '''Katasis''' and '''Vareus''' to form them and brought light and darkness to the world and brought their remnants to '''Ra-Orn'''. Once '''Reviril''' and '''Turrux''' filled the Material Plane, '''Ra-Orn''' formed nature and sentient races, using the final pieces of '''Katasis''' and '''Vareus'''.
