Located among a small wood to the west, '''Silverthorn''' is aptly named for the amount of silvered briers within the area, used in a variety of herbal remedies and alchemical components.

The small village of '''Silverthorn''' primarily makes its money through farming the local silver thorns and housing travelers that pass through the area.  The town is run by a hidden non-resident noble, with the resident rule being administered by the "Resident Vindicator", a "head of the guard" type.

Within the [[World Tree]] campaign setting, '''Silverthorn''' is known for its monument to '''[[The World Tree/Muriel|Muriel]]''' and its friendly population.
