Possibly on a contract from [[The Brass Claw Tong]] to prevent a traitor from divulging information to [[The Sapphire Dawn Triad]], he attacked [[Metal Shrike Ji]] and [[White Lynx]] who both just barely escaped with their lives - while a handful of their followers and henchmen did not have the same luck!
