== Tardrace, Wrath of the Storm ==

===History===
:Tardrace rules from the [[Thousand_Cities:North#Elemental_Pole_of_Air|Elemental Pole of Air]]. She takes pleasure in the destructive force of the Storm. She rarely appears to her followers in a corporeal form, and even then it is made of the winds and rain. On her rare visits to the Celestial Palace, Tardrace appears as one of her followers from [[Thousand_Cities:North#Cinnador|Cinnador]]. 

;Tardrace and Yedan
:Tardace conceived her son [[Thousand_Cities:Ergonus|Ergonus]] while on the battlefield, as she brought a great storm to punish [[Thousand_Cities:Yedan|Yedan]]'s armies. Yedan pierced the clouds with his spear in an attempt to expose the sun, but in doing so struck Tardace. She fell into the [[Thousand_Cities:Underworld|Underworld]], where she gave birth to Yedan's son. After drinking from the waters of the river [[Thousand_Cities:Underworld#Limia|Limia]], she forgot about her son and returned to Creation.

;Tardrace and Herneia
:Tardrace often joins forces with [[Thousand_Cities:Herneia|Herneia]] to create powerful sea storms that send sailors off course into the distant West. On one of these occassions, Tardrace and Herneia melded so perfectly in creating the storm, that from the foam rose their twin children. Neither take a great interest in their children's lives, but they did impart a tempestuous nature to both of them.
