''Thunder and Lightning got their powers while they were swimming in a pool during a thunderstorm, the pool was struck by lightning and, poof. Instant super powers. They knew that they had powers, but they were in love and just wanted to life out their lives in quiet normality.'' 

''One year, at tax time, things were bad and they did not have the money to pay their taxes. They used their powers to knock over a gas station to get the money. That was all they did, the powers were forgotten, and their life went on as before. Till the next year and once again they didn't has the IRS money, another robbery, this time a bank, solved their problems for another year.'' 

''The third year turned out to be the unlucky one. They were captured and sent to jail. At their sentencing the judge decided on a rather unorthodox punishment, public serves. They were to take on a name to be called by, their real names were to be released to the public, their phone number and address were also given out to the public. They were to do good deeds for one year, they had to answer every call for help, no matter the time or situation. In short, their private lives were over, there was no leading a normal life anymore.'' 

''Filled with bitterness for the treatment that they had to endure, they took advantage of the situation and started to make contacts in the underworld. When their time was done and they were free to go back to their normal lives, instead they vanished from sight. Now when anyone sees them they see the villain team known as Thunder and Lightning.'' 

''Thunder is a pretty, if not beautiful, young woman. She does not like the life that they were forced into, but is willing to make the best of it whiles they are at it.'' 

''Lightning is an average looking man that did good to land the beautiful Thunder. He enjoys using his powers, to him it is a macho thing, but does not want his wife to know how much he is enjoying him new life.''
