In the shadows of Amber are many [[Shade]] realms and in them many things have happened.  In this one, long before the disappearance of Corwin and the Black Road War, a war lead by the High Lord of Chaos, a small section of Chaos, made war on Amber and it was destroyed.  In the fleeing panic Tolknor attempted to create a primal realm but failed in the attempt, creating a Sliver of order called Plymoth.  In this bubble many of the survivors of Koob's War remained safe.

In time Tolknor forged again and the stable Primal Realm of York was created.

 +
A connection between the Tosain worlds and the new realm was crated because of their proximity in shadow.
