Editing Traiders:United States

The area once known as the United States of America is now divided broadly into several regions by cultural differences. ([[Traiders:Cascadia Bioregion|Cascadia]], [[Traiders:SoCal|SoCal]], the [[Traiders:Hive States|Hive States]] and [[Traiders:Christian America|Christian America]].)  The .us TLD still performs many of the functions of the old US federal and state governments, but it's power and resources are much more limited.

The northeastern united states and much of the midwest is still referred to as the United States. Much show is put into presidential elections and other trappings of US nationalism, but in reality this region is largely run by agrarian warlords known colloquially as "bosses". Most of the agricultural labor in this region is performed by [[Traiders:Pacifists|pacifist]] anabaptists who are generally quite content with this arrangement and don't fight with the bosses.
