Editing User:Bill/Rifts Week by Week/Series Two Notes

Series Two kind of went off the rails. Folks were interested in playing more powerful characters, so I defined some vague guidelines based on combat bonuses and MDC values and told the regulars to build whatever they wanted but not exceed those. We ended up with some insanely powerful critters going about it that way and they proceeded to chew through the minions of Atlantis without too much effort as they fled from slavery. At the same time, I was spreading myself pretty thin by running four games a week. When we were getting close to my vacation, we decided to suspend the Rifts game and one of the regulars elected to run Godlike for a few sessions. Once I returned from my vacation, I turned my attention back to Rifts. We rescheduled the game for Fridays due to the shop closing on Mondays and I rebooted the whole thing for Series Three, where I will endeavor to be more consistent with my notes.
